Property Tax
Local property taxes, based upon assessed valuation, are assessed, levied and collected by municipalities from owners of New Hampshire property. The Property Bureau of the Municipal and Property Division monitors assessing practices throughout the state, including the review of municipal records and the review and monitoring of contracted assessing services and revaluations.
